Hello,

I have been thinking about planting some vegatables and herbs in a garden in my backyard.  I'm concerned, however that the pest control company that sprayed this yard for the people who lived here before us may have left some harmful chemicals in the soil.  Is this something I should be worried about?

Thanks

contact the company and ask them to check their records to find out what chemicals were used.  Then either google it or post back on this site...

There may still be chemicals left in the soil but it is not that time consuming to deal with. You may contact any agriculturist to test the soil and see what needs to be done to make it better for your garden. Are you seeing anything new or anything weird with the other plants in the area though? like are they small or are they not producing fruits well>?
